In a recent tender called by Bank of China, Eastcompeace is selected as one of the four vendors to provide EMV cards in the near future. Bank of China is one of the TOP 4 state-owned banks in China. The volume of this tender is about 400000 chip cards, ranging from 8K to 32K, complied with EMV and China UnionPay standard or co-branded. With the EMV migration in China, Eastcompece established special EMV R&D and marketing team and put extra resources to get complete chip card manufacturing and personalization certificates from VISA, Mastercard and China UnionPay. The winning of this tender is an important step in Eastcompeace's development to be a major player in the banking market in China....

Eastcompeace, the biggest state-appointed supplier for the second generation National ID card, is proud to announce that it received a contract from the Ministry of Public Security for supplying 20 million pieces of National ID cards in 2006. The Chinese second generation ID card adopts contactless technology which embedded a contactless chip and antenna. Eastcompeace is the leading supplier since the launch of this project. In the year 2005, Eastcompeace supplied more the 12 million pieces of ID cards to the government. In mid-July, with high quality products and excellent service, Eastcompeace stood first on the list of SIM card providers in China Mobile's SIM card public bidding for the third quarter of 2005, which makes Eastcompeace continue to be the core card supplier in the mobile telecommunication industry.

On July 25th, Eastcompeace received the PASS report on PBOC2.0 COS test from China Banking Card Test Center, which means Eastcompeace was one of the first four vendors passed this test. The PASS of PBOC2.0 COS test equipped Eastcompeace with the PBOC banking card qualification in the global EMV migration from magnetic stripe card to chip card, and also enabled Eastcompeace to go forward with a solid step in the banking industry.
